Medico-Legal Assessments, Reports & Testimony

I have prepared many reports for the family/criminal courts in the United Kingdom, and over 200 reports for court proceedings within the United States of America. I have considerable experience of preparing psychological reports of a high standard, and are always delivered within the agreed timescales.
My reports have been used in a variety of contexts, including for training purposes, and below are some of the medico-legal assessments I can carry out in my role as an expert witness:
- Capacity assessments
- Personality assessments
- Forensic risk assessments
- Cognitive assessments
- Mental health
- Parenting assessments
- Domestic violence
- Substance misuse and addiction
- Trauma
- Abuse
- Neglect
- Learning disabilities
- Motivation to change
- Ability to work with professionals
- Family dynamics
- Ability to protect
- Culturally sensitive assessments
- Behavioural difficulties
- Attachment (including inter-sibling attachment)
- Placement options
I have prepared several reports for solicitors and social services regarding adults and their mental health, personality, cognition, and risk in relation to parenting. Such reports are often shared with various agencies and professionals, including other rehabilitation services, hospital settings, community teams, multi-Disciplinary team members, and other mental health professionals.
